Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is an upcoming 2009 fantasy-adventure film, based on the novel by J. K. Rowling. It is the sixth film in the popular Harry Potter films series. It is directed by David Yates.
As Harry Potter begins his sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he discovers an old book marked mysteriously "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past.
Harry's year gets more stressful with the suspicious actions of Draco Malfoy, who has been sneaking around the school doing Voldemort's bidding, or so Harry assumes. He quickly becomes determined to find out exactly what Malfoy has been up to and decides to put an end to it.Throughout all this school drama, however, the apparent darkness of Voldemort's impending rise to power is becoming more and more obvious.
The incredible action-packed climax will be sure to leave the audience stunned and, inevitably, demonstrate that you shouldn't always trust everybody who you think is good and also prove beyond doubt that not everyone has the ability to survive.
